M.K Movers offers loading and unloading-only services called labor-only moves. With this labor-only service, you rent a truck or container, and we will do the rest. This saves you the hassle of doing it yourself and gives you the reassurance that everything will be loaded or unloaded properly. Like any M.K Movers move, our professionally trained team will do all the heavy lifting and handle your items with care.
Packing is not for everyone, but it is essential for any move. Whether you need a little packed or an entire home, our professional packing team can help. When you use M.K Movers to pack, you will not only get a professional-trained packing team to carefully pack your belongings, but you will also get all of the packing supplies – boxes, tape, paper, etc. Our packing team will also label every box so you know what is in the box and where it belongs.
Leaning towards packing yourself? We also offer packing supplies, including a variety of box sizes, packing tape, stretch wrap, and packing paper to help you get the job done.
Yes - We will protect your furniture with our heavy-duty moving blankets in your home prior to transportation. We also carry shrink wrap for items that may need an extra layer of protection.
We accept all major credit cards, personal checks and cash. If paying by credit card there is a 3% processing fee.
We pride ourselves in giving upfront and transparent pricing. We do not have any hidden fees.
Our one-time travel fee covers M.K Movers getting to your first location and back to the office from your final destination.
Travel fees are assessed as a flat fee based upon the size of your move. If you plan to make additional stops not in route to your final destination, there may be an additional fee assessed. Your estimator will be sure to discuss this with you prior to your move.
M.K Mover trucks are 26ft long. Each night the trucks are swept and cleaned to ensure each move starts with clean truck.
We will protect all of your hardwood and tile floors with moving boxes and plastic wrap. If you request full carpet shield an additional fee may apply.
Yes - M.K Movers is fully insured, licensed and bonded.
We strive to make sure all of your items arrive safely to your final destination. However, federally, we are mandated to pay $.30 cents per pound per article for any "damaged" item. We also reserve the right to fix or replace the item.
Full coverage insurance is also available on any move.
During your in-home estimate, our estimator will determine how many trucks you need for your move. In the event all of your items do not fit, the moving team will either make an additional trip or we will send an additional truck.
