While pursuing his Master’s Degree in Psychology, Dan spent his days working at a local moving and storage company, where he discovered a passion for logistics and problem-solving. Dan thrived on overcoming challenges, whether it was managing long-distance operations or finding innovative solutions for clients with unique moving needs.

But life threw Dan a curveball. After a serious accident sidelined him for six months, he faced a difficult recovery. Despite the setback, Dan’s passion for helping others remained strong. Once back on his feet, he decided to start his own company. With borrowed funds from friends and family, he bought a trailer and a few trucks, and VIP Transport was born in Long Beach, California. This innovative spirit soon caught the attention of major clients like NASA, which trusted VIP to handle sensitive payloads and components.

In 2007, leadership transitioned to Laurie Griffiths as CEO and Brittany Johnson as President. With fresh energy and a shared vision, they expanded VIP’s reach by acquiring ten agencies across California and Nevada, growing the company without losing the personal touch that defined its origins.
