How do I estimate how long my move will take?
How long your move can take can vary on many factors. This chart is based on average move times used from data from 1000s of moves performed over the years. Items such as Pianos, Gun safes or moves with Elevators or other factors can change the length of a move greatly. If you have allotted of outdoor furniture and plants can also add time. The Best Movers promises you well-seasoned movers that are well equipped to give you the most value out of your dollar.

Can I order boxes from you?
Yes you can order packing supplies online an we deliver the packing supplies right to your front door within 48 hours. There is a $75 minimum for pack supply delivery.
What documents do I need to sign?
Being a licensed mover in NC requires us to have you sign the Bill of Lading, Move Addendum and a signed receipt of the Nc 101 Move Brochure. This “contract” or Bill of Lading lets you know our responsibilities before the move starts,
What covid-19 Safety Precautions are you taking?
We take Covid-19 seriously and require our staff to get vaccinated, use hand sanitizer and we wear masks on our moves.
Are you Licensed and insured?
Yes, our State License Numbers and DOT Numbers are always listed on Home Page.
What about Bedbugs?
Great question. Bedbugs is something most consumers don’t think about. Being local only you do not need to risk our truck have just been in New York City before coming to your move we also monthly g=treat our box trucks and rotate our blankets.

How much to move my flatscreens?
No charge for any flatscreen televisions up to 60” We use Gator custom tv bags and then transport your tvs in the crate located in the front of our truck.
Do you use blankets?
Yes, we blanket wrap everything and keep over 160 blankets on every truck. We also stretch wrap and use bands at no additional charge to you.
Do you carry tools?
Yes, our Teams carry all the basic hand tools for assembly and disassembly. We will even disconnect and reconnect your washer and dryer (No gas reconnects) – We have it so you just need to turn the water on and inspect for leaks after we leave.

Will you move my lawnmower?
Yes, if there is no fuel (re recommend running I empty on your last mow) we can move your mower. Our truck has a lift gate for riding mowers as well.
Will you pack my boxes?
Yes, We can handle all your moving needs.
Do you move gun safes?
We do offer gun safe moves. These custom moves can vary so please call us today.
Will you do a move out clean?
Yes, Ask about our move clean-outs
How do you protect items going into my Storage?
We recommend you purchase paper pads from us for items going into storage.
How are your moves more efficient?
Our Teams are well seasoned and well vetted, we also have custom fitted blankets to make the move go faster along with plenty of dollies for speed.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes a deposit of $100 (travel charge) is required for all moves
What are cancel/reschedule charges?
Yes we have a $100 cancel charge for moves more than 48 hours from your start time or the 2 hour minimum if less than 24 hours from start time.
