Our hourly rate includes the use of our 20′ moving truck and two movers. If you need packing services, you must provide the necessary packing materials. Additional movers can be hired for an extra fee per person.

How Long Will It Take?

The duration of your move depends on several factors, including the amount of items, their size, and location. Here are our general time estimates:

• 1 bedroom: 3-4 hours
• 2 bedrooms: 6-7 hours
• 3+ bedrooms: 8-10 hours

We charge only for the actual time spent after the minimum charge stated in the quote. You can also help load boxes to reduce the time required.

Additional Movers

Our standard quote includes two movers and a truck. Adding more movers can reduce the loading and unloading time, potentially lowering your overall cost. We recommend at least three movers for a move involving three or more bedrooms.

No Hidden Fees

Transparent Pricing Policy

We charge by the hour, with no additional fees for setup or takedown. We do not charge for travel within the Triangle area, but there may be a travel fee for non-local moves. Moving up or down stairs does not incur extra charges, although it may increase the time required.

Truck Dimensions

Our truck has cargo dimensions of 20′ long x 7.5′ wide x 8′ tall, providing 1,200 cubic feet of space. It is equipped with a ramp and a lift gate. If your items exceed the truck’s capacity, we may need to make multiple trips.

Packing and Unpacking

We typically do not offer packing or unpacking services but can recommend specialized providers. During the move, we use blankets to protect your furniture and can wrap items if necessary.

Important Considerations

We ask clients to secure valuables such as cash and jewelry to avoid any issues. We do not move heavy pianos. We accept cash, check, or credit card payments on the day of the move.
