The History of Federal Companies

Federal Companies started as a warehousing and distribution facility in Peoria, Illinois, founded by Clarence Ullman in 1913. We became a charter member of Allied Van Lines in 1928, which helped expand our capabilities and network. Over the years, we’ve grown into new markets across the Midwest, acquiring moving and storage companies in St. Louis, Champaign, Bloomington-Normal, and Chicago.
